Remaining 2025 Projects
Bob then listed the other projects the Building Committee was planning for this year, which should cost $4,000+ and encouraged folks to renew their memberships and consider additional contributions to help cover these costs. Anyone wishing to help with any of these projects should email Bob or Rick Biddle. Those projects include:
Install sound absorbing acoustic tiles in the main hall
Move RMCA files and filing cabinet to RMCC
Install a combination lock bolt on the front door
Eradicate invasives
Fix and strengthen fence above bank down to Rt. 132
Move Propane Heater and Tank
Refinish/paint blackboard
Improve outhouse cleanout
Curate books in bookshelf and files in filing cabinet
New business
Then Bob and Jodie made moving speeches reflecting on the past and future and officially retired whilst pitching membership sign ups, and contributions (all on website). Then we had some ‘elections’ and administrative and loudmouth duties were foisted upon Sophie Wood, Sarah Blessum, Jenny Sparks, and Chris Coyle, who then talked briefly about how we want to decentralize the jobs at RMCC to be more human to the presidency and then we signed people up for jobs (We’ll take more help! Don’t be shy! Get involved!), made sure all potlucks had hosts and activities (they do), made announcements about upcoming events (above!) and announced and discussed ideas ‘in development’ so stay tuned for more upcoming events!
Phew!
