A weekly meetup for low key weights workout.
Be ready for low impact weight lifting, squats, abs, silly cardio and generally sweating. Together, we'll hold ourselves accountable to stay healthy, get stronger and have a good time! Beginners encouraged. BYO weights (any size or none at all), a towel and a yoga mat. Soup cans, half gallon milk jugs filled with water and other makeshift weights are welcome. If you have extra weights to share or gift, bringthose too! Come dressed to sweat and move. Class fee is $5/class and is 1 hour long.

Craft Day/Dye Pot Party
Crafty Afternoon and Community Dye Pot, June 14th 1-4 pm: Join us for a fun Saturday afternoon of crafting & making art together! Finish that work-in-progress or start a new project alongside your neighbors: knitting, drawing, mending, collage, anything your heart desires. We'll have some natural dye pots on hand, so feel free to bring small cotton, linen, or wool items to dip into the vats while we craft. This is a great way to extend the life of old clothing, napkins, dishtowels, etc. Free, all ages, all welcome. Snacks or drinks to share are welcome! Email katie or steen


Mend and Befriend
Mend and Befriend - You've been meaning to fix those pants and haven't yet. But maybe, just maybe, if you stop by Mend and Befriend, you will.
BYO project, beverage, snacks to share if you like. Crafts of all shapes and abilities are welcome. People who don't want to craft but want to sit with other people crafting, welcome. We may be able to have an extra sewing machine available and folks who can show you how to use it if you don't know. Don't know how to fix it? Don't know what to make next? Come!

Need inspiration to get to that Spring closet clean-out? or perhaps you've already done it, but just haven't gotten down to Listen to drop off your bags yet?
Then perhaps you'd like to join us for a clothing swap! Bring what you want to part with, and take what you like! Bring friends! Make friends! The more the merrier!
At the end, we can coordinate to donate the clothes that are left (if you'd like to help out with this, please email Jenny.

The Last Ice Film with Q&A to follow.
What and where was Glacial Lake Hitchcock? What evidence is left in our region’s valleys, rocks, soil and waterways? On April 3rd, Rices Mills Community Center brings filmmaker Greg Stott to Thetford to show his new documentary about the effects of the last ice age in the Connecticut River Valley. Greg is a middle school science teacher who made the film after winning a Christa McCauliffe Sabbatical supported by the NH Charitable Foundation in 2023.

Meditation Group
Meditation Group - Join us 6:00 - 7:30 for a time of mindfulness practice and meditation. The general rhythm of our group consists of coming together to practice sitting/walking meditation, reading from a dharma book, discussing, sometimes practicing different relational activities and ending with a Metta circle — a time to call in people/situations that could use some extra care, love and attention. . I'll bring an assortment of larger grapevine and smaller willow frames for you to decorate with dried flowers and twine! All participants will leave with one larger and one smaller decorated wreath (or ornament!). I'll also explain how to make your own willow and grapevine frames from local materials. $60

Get in the winter spirit and learn to make a 16" balsam wreath with local balsam and other natural foraged materials (think: birch bark, red dogwood, milkweed pods, cedar, an assortment of pinecones, etc). It's the same process as making a dried flower wreath, but with much easier (and delightfully fragrant) material to work with! $50
