A Show! "Fun and Other Things"
Fun and Other Things, directed by Gabriel Harrell, and written and performed by NYC based writer/ musician Adam Janos, is a series of connected stories and songs about Janos’s long-held belief that he can write his way to romantic connection. Using a lightbox to illuminate the name of which character is speaking, Janos engages in pitter-patter dialogue with his decades-long infatuation, while periodically segueing into weightier tangents on intergenerational trauma, death, and loneliness. The music (vocals and piano) bursts with humor, yet shares the stage with a vulnerable, relatable suffering.

Yoga with Jillian
Yoga with Jillian - July 17th - All levels are welcome for an hour of gentle yoga that will follow the Hatha and Classical traditions of yoga with longer holds, opportunity for deep stretching and strength building, along with some breath work. You can expect to leave class feeling more grounded and in touch with your body. Jillian Conner is an RYT200 certified yoga teacher living on the side of Gove Hill. Sweaty Betty
A weekly meetup for low key weights workout.
Be ready for low impact weight lifting, squats, abs, silly cardio and generally sweating. Together, we'll hold ourselves accountable to stay healthy, get stronger and have a good time! Beginners encouraged. BYO weights (any size or none at all), a towel and a yoga mat. Soup cans, half gallon milk jugs filled with water and other makeshift weights are welcome. If you have extra weights to share or gift, bringthose too! Come dressed to sweat and move. Class fee is $5/class and is 1 hour long.

Mend and Befriend - Join us for a relaxed evening of crafting..could be mending, knitting or another textile but could also be working on a comic book, finally glueing that teacup back together, or stamping envelopes. Whatever you need a big table and a little crafty solidarity to accomplish!

Craft Day/Dye Pot Party
Crafty Afternoon and Community Dye Pot, June 14th 1-4 pm: Join us for a fun Saturday afternoon of crafting & making art together! Finish that work-in-progress or start a new project alongside your neighbors: knitting, drawing, mending, collage, anything your heart desires. We'll have some natural dye pots on hand, so feel free to bring small cotton, linen, or wool items to dip into the vats while we craft. This is a great way to extend the life of old clothing, napkins, dishtowels, etc. Free, all ages, all welcome. Snacks or drinks to share are welcome! Email katie or steen

Mend and Befriend - You've been meaning to fix those pants and haven't yet. But maybe, just maybe, if you stop by Mend and Befriend, you will.
BYO project, beverage, snacks to share if you like. Crafts of all shapes and abilities are welcome. People who don't want to craft but want to sit with other people crafting, welcome. We may be able to have an extra sewing machine available and folks who can show you how to use it if you don't know. Don't know how to fix it? Don't know what to make next? Come!
