Support nature with beautiful native gardens
Have you been thinking about reducing your lawn, but aren’t sure where to start?
Would you love a home surrounded by flowers (butterflies, bumblebees!) but feel overwhelmed by plant lists and unsure how to pull it all together?
If you want to support and enjoy nature at home with beautiful, low-maintenance native gardens, the Wild Garden Workshop is for you.
This 7-week course is designed for both beginners and experienced gardeners. Together, we’ll explore the science behind ecological gardening, get to know many of our stunning native plants, and walk through the design process for creating perennial gardens that are both beautiful and super beneficial.
Through a mix of presentations, group discussion, and hands-on design work, participants will:
Gain a deeper understanding of the pollinators, plants, and ecological connections in their yards
Create a detailed garden design for a wild garden at home
Learn practical skills like starting native plants from seed, choosing the right species for your home, and how to kill grass
And much more!
