Fundraiser "Dykes for Flood Relief"

Dykes For Flood Relief Screenprinting Fundraiser

Have you always wanted a shirt that says "Dykes For Flood Relief" on it? Do you want one now? We're hosting a screenprinting flood resilience fundraiser at Rices Mills Community Association in Thetford on 4/19 from 10-3.

Bring a blank shirt (or tea towel, or tote bag), and for a donation to either the NOFA VT Farm Emergency Fund or Upper Valley Strong, we'll help you print this super cool design on it! Can't make it the day of? Mail us your shirt and we'll print it and mail it back to you! Either way, please preregister here so we can get an idea of how many people are coming and how many supplies to bring (preregistration not required, but it helps us plan). We will also have some preprinted and thrifted shirts if you don't have one to bring. We'll have music, and if you want to bring seltzers or snacks to share, it can be a bit of a party!

Huge thanks to Zoe Miller of Handz-Made for this beautiful and juicy design.

When and where? Sunday, April 19, from 10-3pm, at Rices Mills Community Association (2352 VT-132, Thetford Center).

Who is the money going to? Upper Valley Strong and the NOFA-VT farm security fund both important provide flood resilience and relief work in the state, but if you've got another flood relief organization you'd like to donate to, that's cool too! We're suggesting a sliding scale donation of $15 a print (cash or card will work).

How do I preregister and what if I forget to? If you can preregister, that will help us plan how many supplies we will need. If you forget, that's okay, we'd still love to see you! Preregister here: http://bit.ly/4bKb3r6

I can't make it! How do I still get a shirt? If you mail (or drop off) a shirt with us, we'll print it and mail it back to you (you pay return shipping).

Preregister for that here: http://bit.ly/4bKb3r6

Who's hosting this? We are Marya and Jenevra, two humble lesbians who dream of a flood-resilient Vermont. Both of us are from VT and have experienced flooding firsthand - Marya as a farmer and Jenevra while working on flood recovery efforts in the Upper Valley. This is not hosted by any official organization.
